Sola Church began with a small group of believers who were excited about and longing to be part of a church that is both theologically and culturally focused. Although we live in an age with hundreds of books on how to do church, it seems as if many of those books focus on how to make the program of the church bigger and better, but they miss the Bible’s focus on the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
Based on this excitement and with the Gospel as the foundation, Chad Mondragon moved his family from Lexington, KY back to his hometown of Denver. With five interested families, Sola Church began forming gospel-centered friendships with neighbors, co-workers, and organizations in Centennial. The small group met together in a home until October 2010, when we began a regularly occurring worship gathering.
