partnering churches info

Developing strategic partners in the church planting in crucial for many reasons.

1. Partnership reflects collaboration.

We believe churches plant churches. Jesus proclaimed the church as His choice instrument for bearing the Gospel message (Matthew 16:13-20).

With that said, we value local churches sensing God's leadership in the church planting process. When a local church grasps the call to plant a new church, the Denver church planting team rallies to help connect all the pieces. We strive to build a collaborative team that includes the planter, sponsor churches, and individuals passionate about church planting.

Collaborating together, we serve as a team. We help one another and feel an sense of responsibility in helping every church planting team thrive.

2. Partnership is a spiritual endeavor

Church planting teams need prayer partners. In training our planters, we emphasize that prayer comes first. It is easy to think that raising funds, building teams, or finding the right location comes first. This is never the case. Prayer is paramount, always.

We need devoted partners, both churches and individuals, who covenant to pray for our church planting teams.  Spiritual warfare is very real in our context. The enemy doesn't want any church to thrive, so our planters face extreme spiritual opposition as they collaborate with God in seeing a new church realized.

We encourage you to look back at our church planting team list. Identify one or two teams that you will commit to pray for. Use the contact information to connect with these planting teams and write them notes of encouragement. Reach out to our planter teams. They thrive when encouraged!

3. Partnering means generosity with resources.

Our church planting teams are entrepreneurial in the fact that they often start with nothing. But church planting is far more than a small business enterprise. It is a journey of faith, stepping into the hands of God daily. Planters live with very little margin in many aspects of life. They are often "strapped for cash" as they reach out to unchurched people that have little understanding of what it means to tithe.

Nevertheless, our planting teams follow God's calling and step into the journey. They watch God rally His resources to support their church planting work.

Partnering with church planting teams is one of the most exciting opportunities we have! As we invest in their work, we are investing in the advancement of God's kingdom! Church planting teams need partners who are willing to invest financial resources, time, and insight into their new work. Local churches and individuals have a golden opportunity in helping one of our church planting teams thrive.

Interested in financially partnering with one of our church planting teams? You can connect directly with one of our planting teams or ministries and ask them for a description of immediate needs. Otherwise, please feel free to contact the Denver church planting team. We'd love to help you discover a way to directly partner in a meaningful way with one of our church planting teams.
